This Privacy Policy explains what BMT Materials collects when you use our website, create an account, and place an order, and how we handle that information.
• Your name, email address, and phone number • Your account login details (your password is stored only in encrypted, hashed form by our authentication provider, and we never see it) • Your delivery address and the map pin (location coordinates) you provide • Order details, including items, quantities, and delivery preferences • Payment information you enter to complete a purchase • Messages you send us through the support form or the contact page We collect this information directly from you when you register, place an order, or contact us.
• To create and manage your account • To prepare, confirm, and deliver your order • To calculate delivery cost based on your governorate and location • To contact you about your order and coordinate the delivery window • To process payments and issue receipts • To handle returns, refunds, and support requests • To keep basic records as required for our business and by law
We don't process cards and we don't take card numbers. You pay by cash on delivery, CliQ, or bank transfer. For CliQ and bank transfer you upload a copy of the receipt, and our team checks it by hand before confirming the order. We keep that receipt and the payment reference so we can match your payment to your order.
• Google Maps, which we use for location and the map pin so we can plan and cost delivery • Our delivery drivers, who receive the address and contact number needed to bring your order • Email and hosting providers that run the site and send order and account messages on our behalf We share only what each party needs to do its part, and we don't sell your personal data.
We rely on trusted technology providers to run the site and store your data: • Supabase, our database and authentication platform, which securely stores your account, order, and message records on servers in Frankfurt, in the European Union • Vercel, which hosts and serves the website from its international network These providers act as processors on our behalf, so your data is stored and processed on servers outside Jordan. Under Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law, sending data abroad needs your consent, so by using the store and accepting this policy you agree to your data being handled by these providers outside the country, under the recognised security safeguards they apply. We share only the data needed to run the service.
We keep your information for as long as needed to fulfil your order and meet our legal and accounting obligations, then dispose of it or anonymise it. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold.
We work to keep your data safe, but no system is completely immune. If a breach happens that affects your personal information, we'll tell the customers involved without undue delay and report it to the competent authority, in line with the timelines set by Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law. Our message will explain what happened and what you can do about it.
Under Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law you have rights over the information we hold about you. You can: • ask for a copy of the data we hold about you • correct anything that's wrong or out of date • have your data deleted • limit how we use it, or object to a particular use • get your data in a portable form to take elsewhere • withdraw a consent you gave us, at any time You can do most of this yourself: view and update your profile from your account, download a copy of your data before you leave, and delete your account and personal data from your account settings under "Delete account" (or, if you're signed out, from our account deletion page). For any other request, or to exercise a right that isn't in your account, email us at support@bmtmaterials.com or reach us through the Contact page. Some records, such as past invoices, are kept where the law requires.
We handle personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Law of Jordan and related regulations. Where this policy and the law differ, the law applies.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published here, and we'll show the date it was last updated.
For any privacy question or request, email us at support@bmtmaterials.com or reach us through the Contact page.
The price you see before you confirm is the price you pay. Your total is made up of the cost of the materials, the delivery cost for your governorate and location, and any applicable tax, all shown clearly before you complete the purchase. Product prices are in Jordanian Dinar (JOD) and don't include delivery until you enter your location.
